Randy C. Ovard explained to the Council that Christian Northrup would like to purchase a tuff shed to put at John’s Park. It would house the old mower and equipment used at that park, also cleaning supplies and etc. used at the rodeo grounds. Moving that equipment and the supplies would give Christian more room in the bay he uses in the garage. It would also move the clutter so there would be easier access to the records room. Christian brought in a bid from The Home Depot. If the shed is approved by the thirteenth he can get a ten percent discount. Ryan K. Mosher made a motion to approve the tuff shed to place at John’s Park. Robin K. Riches seconded the motion. Vote: AYE: Randy C. Ovard, Brent G. Ovard, Ryan K. Mosher, Robin K. Riches, NAY: none ABSTAINING: none ABSENT: Kay H. Richins
The warrants were approved for the June year ending, and the beginning of July.
Mayor Ovard explained that there had been an emergency at the lift station by the River Bridge again. They were unable to reach Dub Lawrence to come up to fix it so Ryan Mosher took his equipment down and pulled the pumps and clean them. Mayor Ovard would like to compensate Ryan for the work he did. There was a question as to whether it would be a conflict of interest. The Council asked EarleenPaskett to contact the town Auditor to find out whether it would be legal or not to reimburse Ryan K. Mosher for his work.
Brent G. Ovard made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Robin K. Riches seconded the motion. The vote to adjourn was unanimous.
