This letter is to inform you that we have decided to discontinue TRITON™ 770 Concentrate Surfactant effective June of 2003, or as inventories allow. The demand for TRITON 770 Concentrate Surfactant has decreased steadily over the past few years to a current low volume point. Given the low volume, we have elected to discontinue the product.
TRITON 770 Concentrate Surfactant is a sulfate surfactant used in textile processing and cleaners. This anionic surfactant is 30% actives in isopropanol / water. TRITON 770 Concentrate provides excellent wetting, good wax and oil emulsification.
Dow Surfactants offers several other sulfates including TRITON W-30 Concentrate and TRITON XN-45S Surfactant.
TRITON W-30 Surfactant is an excellent emulsifier. This product also provides excellent wetting with minimal rewetting. TRITON W-30 Surfactant is 27% actives in isopropanol / water and is used in textile processing, and water-repellent finishes for fabrics and carpets.
TRITON XN-45S Surfactant has superior emulsifying and dispersing ability. This anionic surfactant also provides excellent wetting. TRITON XN-45S is 60% actives in ethanol / water and is used in emulsion polymerization, wax emulsification and cleaners.
