HOST: Carpet Capital Aquatic Club (CCAC)
FACILITY: Dalton High School Natatorium (map to the facility is attached) 1500 Manly Street Dalton, GA 30720
The pool is a 6-lane, 25-yard competition pool with a 4-foot minimum depth, nonturbulent lane lines, and fully automatic Omega electronic timing system and brand new, 6-lane/line Daktronics scoreboard with a lane/time/place display. The competition course has been certified in accordance with 104.2.2C(4) . The copy of such certification is on file with USA Swimming & Georgia Swimming. Bleacher seats provide ample seating for spectators. Ample parking is available in the east parking lot of the high school.

The Starter will be Med Dement. The Carpet Capital Aquatic Club welcomes and encourages the assistance of certified officials and apprentices from the visiting teams. Please contact the Meet Referee in advance or when you arrive, if you are interested in officiating. Please arrive at least 60 minutes before the start of the session. All officials must present their current Officials certification and USA Swimming membership card; and wear them on the deck at all times while working the meet. Dress will be white shirts over blue pants of shorts.
SAFETY MARSHALL: The Safety Marshall for this meet will be Mitch Mashburn.
COACHES: There will be a mandatory Coaches’ Meeting at 8:20 AM on Saturday, March 7th, in the hospitality room. Coaches will be required to sign in and show their U.S.A. Swimming coaches LSC card. Coaches must wear their current LSC card at all times while at the meet. The pool will be cleared during the meeting.
ELIGIBILITY: All participants must be USA Swimming registered athletes. Entries will not be accepted without 2015 registration numbers. On deck registrations will not be accepted. Any swimmer entered in the meet, unaccompanied by a USA Swimming member coach, must be certified by a USA Swimming member coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. It is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer’s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement. Swimmers attending the meet without a coach must report to the Meet Director or Referee to be assigned a coach for warm-up prior to each session.
TIME STANDARDS: As noted in the order of events for this meet.
RULES: The current USA-S Rules and Regulations will govern the conduct of the meet, unless noted otherwise herein. All coaches and officials must wear current year USA BADGES on deck at all times. A swimmer's age on the first day of the meet will determine his or her age for the entire meet. Swimmers are responsible for swimming in assigned heats and lanes. Dive-over starts may be utilized at the discretion of the meet referee and meet management.
Except where venue facilities require otherwise, changing into or out of swimsuits other than in locker rooms or other designated areas is not appropriate and is prohibited.
Use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in changing areas, rest rooms or locker rooms.

WARM UP: Georgia Swimming Meet Safety Guidelines and Warm-up Procedures will be in effect at this meet. The Meet Director will post and announce the warm-up assignments prior to the start of the meet warm-up. Swimmers attending the meet without a coach must report to the Meet Director or Referee to be assigned a coach for warm-up prior to each session.

ENTRIES: Teams who have HYTEK'S Meet/Team Manager should submit their entries via email, CD/DVD, jump drive (please send in COMMlink file format or WIN-MM format). E-mailed HYTEK entries are preferable. Entry forms must be completely filled out including the swimmers’ best times for yards. Please provide a written copy of entries for verification purposes. Results will be returned via email and posted to the ccacswimming.org web site after the meet. All teams are required to return a signed waiver included in this entry package. Meet limited to first 350 swimmers entered.
DISABILITIES: Swimmers with disabilities are welcome.
DEADLINE: Entry disks and/or printouts, summary/release sheets, and entry fees, including surcharges, must be received by the Meet DIRECTOR on or before Thursday, February 19 2015. Late entries will be accepted for empty lanes only; new heats will not be created. Meet entries will be limited to the first 350 swimmers. All swimmers entering late must show their USA registration card to the clerk of course to verify their current USA membership.

LIMITS: Swimmers are limited to 5 individual events per day, exclusive of relays. Meet limited to first 350 swimmers entered.
MEET FORMAT: This is a timed finals meet. All events will be pre-seeded and swum according to the order of events in the meet information sheet. SPECIAL NOTE: Meet Director reserves the right to change the order of events should the number of entries exceed a given four hour session. Coaches will be notified in advance of such a change should the 10-under girls need to be moved to the afternoon session.
AWARDS/SCORING: THIS IS A TOP THREE TROPHY MEET. Trophies will be awarded for places 1 through 3. Trophies will be awarded by time swum. Ribbons will be awarded for places 4-8. There will be no team scores.

LIABILTY/RELEASE: In granting this sanction it is understood and agreed that, USA Swimming, Inc., Georgia Swimming, Inc., and Carpet Capital Aquatics Club shall be held harmlessfrom any and all liabilities or claims for damages arising by reason of injury to anyone during the conduct of thisevent. Acceptance of this policy is evidenced by entry into this meet.
WAIVER, ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND LIABILITY RELEASE: (This form MUST accompany Meet Entry)
I, the undersigned coach or team representative, verify that all of the swimmers and coaches listed on the enclosed entry are registered with USA Swimming. I also acknowledge that I am familiar with the rules of USA Swimming and Southeastern Swimming, Inc. regarding warm-up procedures and meet safety guidelines, and that I shall be responsible for the compliance of my team’s swimmers with those rules during this meet. The Carpet Capital Club and the City of Dalton, Georgia Swimming, Inc. and USA Swimming, their agents, officers, representatives, employees and coaches shall be free from any liability or claim for damages for any and all injuries, illnesses or damage to valuables which may be sustained at this meet or while in transit to and from this meet. I also acknowledge that by entering this meet, I am granting permission for the names of any or all of my team’s swimmers to be published on the internet in the form of Psych Sheets, Meet Results or any other documents associated with the running of this meet.
I have reviewed RULE 302.4 FALSE REGISTRATION and understand that GA Swimming probably will issue a fine of up to $100.00 per event against a member coach or a member club submitting a meet entry which indicates a swimmer is registered with USA swimming when that swimmer or the listed club is not properly registered.

From The North: Approach via I-75 South. Exit 336, Dalton/Rocky Face, go East on US76/South US41 back under the Interstate. Turn right at second traffic light on Shuggart Rd (Home Depot/Walmart on right). Turn left at third traffic light on Waugh Street. Turn right at Manly just over top of hill. Use second entrance on East side of Dalton High. Natatorium is on back right (NE) corner of the school.
From The South: Approach via I-75 North. Exit 333, Dalton/Walnut Ave, go East on US52/Walnut Ave. Turn left at third traffic light on Tibbs Road (Road is called Dug Gap to the right). Road becomes Shuggart at second traffic light, continue straight on Shuggart. Turn right at next traffic light on Waugh Street. Turn right at Manly just over top of hill. Use second entrance on East side of Dalton High. Natatorium is on back right (NE) corner of the school.
