Narrative-writing stories / Number – recognising, counting forwards and backwards to 100 and beyond. Using the language of: equal to, more than, less than (fewer), most, least.
Representing numbers using objects.
Addition- read, write and interpret mathematical statements involving addition (+), subtraction (-) and equals (=) signs; to add one digit and two digit numbers to 20 / Position - describe position, direction and movement, including whole, half, quarter and three-quarter turns
Shape - recognise and name common 2-D and 3-D shapes, including 2-D shapes [for example, rectangles (including squares), circles and triangles]. / Identifying and labelling the basic parts of the human body and say which part of the body is associated with each sense.
Learning about animals and their babies
Describing the importance for humans of exercise, eating the right amounts of different types of food and hygiene.
Art & Design / Design & Technology / RE / PSHE
Using a combination of materials to make a pirate ship collage.
Making clay treasure chests. / Creating fruit pirate ships by cutting, peeling or grating ingredients safely.
Cooking ingredients to make a pitta bread pizza treasure map / Hearing stories about special occasions which are celebrated.
Understanding that religious believers celebrate important occasions with rituals and festivals / Knowing which people we can ask for help.
Knowing how to keep clean and look after myself. Understanding that babies become children, then adults.
Knowing there are different types of families.

Using a beebot or remote control car to practice control, direction and manoeuvre / Learning about human and physical features.

Homework goes home at the start of the half term and is returned the last week of the half term. Please check your home work book for dates.
