Home and School Minutes
Welcome and Introduction
Alicia Hayes welcomed everyone and Heather Howerton and Sheetal Patel approved the minutes from the previous meeting.
Principal Report
Dr Waters submitted her report electronically
Treasurer Report
Beach Party was a success. We almost broke even but not quite. 5th grade field trip has been paid for. 6th grade activity night was paid and check issued. It looks as if all field trips are paid to date.
Fundraising Report
Joe Corbi lunch is tomorrow. Steph Rogovin is attending. Discussed the possibility of a coupon card for Mom’s Water ice and Bella Italia. The cost is $10 and H & S gets half of the profits. Chipotle fundraiser made $266. Hatfield pizza fundraiser made $200. The spice kitchen fundraiser is 4/13. Wendys night is 5/13 from 4-8 and Mom’s is scheduled for the last day of school on 6/18.
Past Activities
Beach Party had a great turnout and the committee did a great job.
Upcoming Activities
Hawk Walk-the mail campaign has started. In person is starting this week. Donations will be accepted until May 1st. Committee meeting is on 4/13 at 7pm. They will be planning the day of event activities and prizes.
May Fair-the meeting was 2/3 weeks ago. It is rolling along. They need someone to solicit donations and keep track. Need a person to organize games. Alicia is doing the food, Beth is doing volunteers and Kelly is doing prizes. Another mtg will be held at the end of the month.
School Picnic-DJ is lined up and they are working on inflatables. It is 6/2.
Committee News
6th grade has yet to decide what they will do with the money made from fundraising. A meeting will be hald to discuss.
Yearbook/pictures. 6th grade pic was taken outside and yearbook will be submitted shortly.
Coordination Council needs new board members. There are monthly meetings. Ray Wilson spoke about his job as safe schools coordinator and working on new entrances at the HS then on to the elementary schools.
If anyone is concerned about security issues on voting day, the district will be bringing in extra security for the schools that day. The next meeting is about the insurance that is used to cover all H and S events if anyone is interested in attending.
Hospitality is prepping for the staff/teacher appreciation luncheon that is coming up.
Other Business
The clothing drive will be the day of May Fair on 5/17. No books or videos.

Go to Superb Nails during the month of April and they will give $1 to Hatfield for every transaction by a Hatfield family. Also will be done in August.
