(See attached presentation)
The following requests were tabled and accepted at the special TAMS council:
- Currently AGB Nielsen has installed meters into 120 PVR households. AGB Nielsen motivated for the convergence of this PVR panel with the TAMS panel for the 2010 soccer world cup. This world cup data will be labelled differently (e.g. “the Special World Cup Data”) to make sure that users are aware that the data is not the currency. SAARF will be given credit for this data.
- The TAMS Council is happy with the concept of measuring internet usage, using the TAMS panel. Chris will work on a formal proposal.
- Nielsen Media Room
This will be in operation for the duration of the World Cup and will compare what is happening in SA and the rest of the world in terms of TV viewing etc. At this stage it is not clear if there will be free access to this website or not.
Signed as a true record of the proceedings on this ………day of………………………..2010.
