Pairing: Swiss system, 9 rounds
Rate of Play: 90 minutes with an increment of 30 seconds per move, starting from move one
Right to Participate: 1) A Tournament – players with FIDE rating of 2300 or higher 2) B Tournament –players with FIDE rating of 2299 or lower;
Remark: Players with FIDE rating between 2200-2299 may choose to play in the A tournament, if they wish so.
Prize Fund: Total Prize Fund is 35.700,00 KM (cca 18.255,00 EUR), divided in 44 prizes:
A Tournament – 24.600,00 KM, divided in 15 prizes,
B Tournament – 11.100,00 KM divided in 29 prizes (12 regular prizes – 7.700,00 KM, Women' section – 1.200,00 KM and special prizes – 2.200 KM).

Exchange rate: 1 EUR = 1,95583 KM
Notice: Prize Fund on A Tournament and B Tournament is conditioned with numbers of participants: A Tournament minimum 40 participants and B Tournament minimum 70 participants. Otherwise, Prize Fund will be decreased 15 %.
Prizes are not cumulative. In case of a tie by points, prizes will be shared using Hort system. If a participant wins a prize on two basis, he/she will receive the main prize provided it is higher or equal to a special prize. If a participant wins two special prizes, he gets a higher prize, and if the prize is of equal value, the organizer will decide by a lot which one he will get. According to Bosnian legislation, the prize money will be taxed with 10%. All the participants in the 44th International Chess Tournament “Bosna 2014” should provide their bank-accounts to the organizer, in order to get their prize money. Prize money will be transefered on bank-accounts 15 days after the end of tournament. Participants in B-group shall bring their own chess electronic clock.

Benefits:
Ø For the first 15 participants with rating above 2600 the organizer will provide accomodation, half board (8 days), if they first contact organizer. The rating at the moment of registration will be considered as actual rating for this offer;
Ø For the invited participants the organizer will provide accommodation - half board (8 days);
Ø Players with FIDE rating over 2450 points are exempt of paying entry fee;
Ø Players from BIH rating list have 50% discount on entry fee.
