REGULAR BOARD MEETING OZARK, ALABAMA June 9, 2015
The Dale County Board of Education met in regular session Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 5:30 p.m., in the Board Room of the CreelRichardsonBuilding. Braxton Bell, Board President, presided over the meeting with members Larry Ezell, Don Williams, Dale Sutton, Bill McSween, Attorney James Tarbox, and Superintendent Donny Bynum present.

There were several visitors present.
- Bills and Accounts
The Superintendent recommended all bills and accounts be paid.
Motion – Larry Ezell, Second – Don Williams, carried.
- Financial Statements/Bank Reconciliations
The Superintendent presented the recent financial statement to the Board and announced all accounts have been reconciled through April.

The Superintendent made the following recommendations pending certification and background searches as required by the State Department of Education.

The Superintendent recommended Board Policy 5.95lie on the table for thirty days.

- Board Policy Revision 5.83 – Cellular Phones/Electronic Devices
The Superintendent recommended a revision to Board Policy 5.83 lie on the table for thirty days. A work session was scheduled for July 14, 2015 at 4:30 to address any changes necessary on the two policies placed on the table.

- Field Trips
The Superintendent recommended the following out of state field trip be approved:

- Board of Equalization
The Superintendent spoke to the Board regarding the nomination of three individuals to be presented to the Board of Equalization.

- CNP Meal Prices
The Superintendent recommended the CNP breakfast meal prices be increased to $1.25 for students and $1.75 for staff.

- SIR Report
The Superintendent presented the 2014-15 End of Year SIR Report for Board review.
No action required.

With no other business to be presented, President Bell adjourned the meeting.
