CLASS RULES

1. You must have your agenda and IDevery day.If you don’t have BOTH, you will not be given a pass. Passes at my discretion.

2. IF YOU ARE ABSENT, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CHECK THE WEBSITE FOR YOUR ASSIGNMENT AND NOTES. IF POSSIBLE, ASSIGNMENT SHOULD BE TURNED IN WHEN YOU RETURN.

3. CELL PHONES MUST BE OFF AND OUT OF SIGHT. FIRST OFFENSE IS A DETENTION AND YOUR PHONE CONFISCATED UNTIL THE END OF THE DAY. ALL CELL PHONES MUST BE OUT OF SIGHT!!!!!!

YOU CANNOT USE MY CLASSROOM PHONE, PRINTER, OR COMPUTER.

4. No passes will be issued without your agenda and ID– even to the restroom next door.

5. You must bring textbook, pencil/pen, and notebook to class every day. A 3-ring binder is suggested for class.

****iphones/ipod CANNOT be used as calculators – purchase a scientific calculator ≈ $10.00

****music devices and earphones must be out of sight – until homework time. And then only if used discretely while working on your assignment.

****laptops must remain closed until all work is finished, unless otherwise directed. (if applies)

6. Must be in assigned seat when the bell rings.

The 3nd and 4rd tardy to class will result in a detention. The 5th and 6th tardy will result in a Saturday school. The 7th tardy may result in removal from class. (per trimester)

The 6th absence (excused or unexcused) from class may result in removal from class and loss of credit.

7. If you are absent (EXCUSED):

- you must show me/ turn in your homework from the day before.

- you must check the agenda/ fusion for the assignment(s) missed.

- you must copy someone's notes, or make a hard copy of mine if we covered new material.

- you will have the same # of days to make-up material as the # of days absent.

If you need help with material covered during your absence, you will need to come to SRT, or stay after school, NOT during class time!!!!!!!

8. ABSOLUTELY NO LATE HOMEWORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

9. Absences with regard to tests or quizzes (EXCUSED):

Absent test/quiz day - you will

make up the test/quiz during the class period the day you return.

Absent test review day - you have the option to take the test on the scheduled day or review while the class takes the test and take the test the next day during the class period(you will be responsible for missed material)

Absent for new material - you may be allowed extra days, but you must check with me before the day of the test/quiz.

10. All unexcused absences result in a zero for that day.

11. Please use a pencil on all tests and quizzes.

12.THERE IS TO BE NO SLEEPING IN CLASS. YOU MUST TAKE NOTES AND WORK ON YOUR ASSIGNMENT IN CLASS!
