Summary of conditions of service
Job Title: Day Support Assistant
1.Hours: This is a part-time position of 14 hours per week working Tuesday and Friday.
2.Contract:This is on a permanent contract.
3.Salary:£6.94 per hour to £7.26 per hour depending on qualifications. Payment is made monthly in arrears on the 19th of each month.
4.Annual Leave:Annual leave entitlement is 30 days per annum, including bank holidays, pro rata. The leave year runs from 1 April to 31 March.
5.References:This post is subject to satisfactory references being received.
6.Probationary Period:This post is subject to the satisfactory completion of six month’s service.
7.DBS: The post is subject to a satisfactory disclosure being received from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
8.Notice: For the first month of employment one week’s notice is required on either side. Thereafter one month’s notice is required.
9.Pension:We will automatically enrol you into the Workplace Pension Scheme if you meet the criteria set by Government.
10.Expenses:Out-of-pocket expenses will be paid. Any official mileage will receive 45p per mile.
11.Sick pay:A company sick pay scheme operates, further details of which can be found in the staff handbook.
12.Healthcare Cover: Healthcare cover through Simplyhealth which covers payment towards dental, optical, complementary therapies, health screening and diagnostic consultations up to a set limit.
