Googling Agripost, or the Lower House Farm, or Mark Gethin, Cardeston Ford, brings up not very good maps, but just slowing down after about 4 miles and reading the signposts on the left hand side will get people there.

If coming into Newtown from Welshpool

Rose Cottage is about 1½ miles north of Newtown. Look for Tescos on your left, then turn right at the next set of traffic lights. Follow the road over river bridge, zebra crossing, round a left hand bend. Look for a church on your right and turn sharp right in front of it onto the Llanfair Caereinon road (also signposted to the hospital). Go up steep hill. When you see large brick farmhouse in front of you on asharp bend, turn right onto a small lane; keep to the left at the no through road sign and you will see Rose Cottage up on the slope to your left. It is 0.4 miles from the farmhouse.

If you miss the turning by the farmhouse, take the next right and follow the lane round until you see Rose Cottage on your right.

If you use a satnav it will usually take you to a bungalow to the north of us. Keep following the lane and after it takes a sharp right hand bend, Rose Cottage will be next on your right.
