CHRISTMAS CONCERTS

Well Done to classes 4,5,6,7, 8 and 9 for their excellent Christmas Concert items. I am sure you were very proud of their performances as we were. Each child made a valuable contribution. Thank you for your support, attendance, costume making and donations.

Please send in your £3.00 contribution towards the cost of the Christmas party if you have not already done so. We need the money to buy the food.

ASHTON LIGHTS SWITCH ON

The choir represented the school very well last Friday at the Ashton lights switch on. Thank you to all of those who supported and sang beautifully. The children were wonderful.

CLASS 11’S VICTORIAN EXPERIENCE

Class 11 went to Cuerden Valley Park on Tuesday and spent the day as Victorian apprentices. They realised how strict it was, but that they would rather be: scullery maids, gardeners, game keepers or charcoal burners, than work in the workhouse. They were outstanding Victorians.

VOLLEYBALL- Well done to Austin Williams, Jake Veivers, Jasmine Rogers, Bethany Martin, Grace Talbot, James Fenerty Furay and Peter Walker who took part in a Volleyball competition at St Edmund Arrowsmith, they played four games, won 3 and drew one. Well done!

Y5 RUGBY – Congratulations to Ben Trueman, Dylan Ratcliffe, Niall Spruce, Ben Franklin, Phoebe Cook, William Massey and Sam Lloyd who played very well at a Rugby competition. They played 4 games, won 3 and drew 1! Well done to everyone who took part.

MUSIC TUITION FEES – Please send in all outstanding music tuition fees for the Autumn Term. You have received a letter if this applies to you.
