Needed renovations are: plastering, painting, tiling, and some major electrical work. The Church in Albania is ready and willing. They just need extra hands.
Sauk, Albania: District Ministry Center
This is a chance to be involved in a groundbreaking adventure, from the beginning! There will be work ranging from cleaning land and trash, to plastering, laying brick, building interior walls, painting, tiling, and some major electrical work.
Tirana / Kombinat, Albania:
Mission House Addition/Renovation*
The “Mission House” in Tirana is in need of an addition. All kinds of work will need to be done including: dry walling, plastering, painting, varnishing wood ceilings, tiling, and some technical/ electrical work.
* Note: These two projects in Albania can work together. If a team is large enough there is the opportunity for the team to work on both and help in the advancement of these projects come to completion even quicker!
Ponta Delgada, The Azore Islands:
District Center
With renovations, this former factory will enable the district to host retreats and camps. It will also be a place from which compassionate ministries can operate. Some of the needs include: electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, painting, wall building and repair, roof work, carpeting, and finishing work.
Sofia, Bulgaria: District Parsonage
This newly constructed building is now ready to have the windows and doors installed. Interior finishing work includes: sheetrocking, installing plumbing fixtures, installing tile and parquet flooring, painting and wallpapering. Outside, a portion of the perimeter fence needs to be constructed.
Rue Myrha (Paris), France:
Church Renovation
The church would like to convert part of the building into office space and classrooms. Construction workers, carpenters, painters, tile masters are all needed.
Additionally, the Paris Churches are continually organizing a youth library and are working to set up a computer network with printers. These projects require willingness, some expertise, and funding.
Catania, Italy: New Church Building
The pillars and foundation have been poured and now there is need for construction, carpentry, brick laying, tile installation, landscaping, painting, and cleaning – immediate help is needed!
Florence, Italy:
Church and Property Renovation
Some of the needs include: restoration and painting of the sanctuary and removing wood covering from walls and ceiling and making repairs. Help is needed also in restoration of the Sunday school room, and creating a new Sunday school room (roofing , setting windows and door), and constructing a sidewalk around the church building.
Rome, Italy: Villa Renovation
This free standing villa incorporates both church and hospitality with its ability to house approximately 15 guest in its upstairs rooms. There is still much to be done to make the space more efficient and safe as a church and district/retreat center. Shutters need to be purchased and installed, a bathroom is in need of complete overhaul, outside plastering and painting as well as cleaning and landscaping all need to be done.
Alcoitão, Portugal:
Church and Ministry Center
Renovations to the ministry center would include improvements to the children’s section and the closing off of a large open area above the children’s facility, creating a loft that could be used for ministry space, housing youth teams to work with the kids. There is a need for framers, carpenters, painters, and helping hands eager to serve.
Porto, Portugal (Projects 1 & 2):
Church & Property Renovations
The church in Porto would like to restore its existing church building. Help is needed with project funds and construction work, such as carpentry, painting, landscaping, and more.
Spain: Family Camp Construction
The Spain District recently purchased a campground and would like to construct a multipurpose building use for district functions. Framers, brick layers, and electricians are needed as well as painters and finishers. There is much landscaping that needs to be done as well as leveling land, planting, and much more.
