OA02 - Lay Leader 101 -Martha Shreiner, Cindy Smith, Sue Grimm Mattox, and Others–This workshop centers on the Guidelines for Lay Leaders. A panel of seasoned lay leaders will present suggestions and answer questions to help new or recently elected lay leaders in your local church.
OA03 - Getting Your Congregation Ready for Emergency Situations (Including Active Shooter) – Rev.Richard Rimert, SW District Disaster Response Coordinator, Lancaster County CISM Team Member - Steps to take to be prepared for natural and human-made emergency situations. Resources will be available.

DM02 - Alternative Styles Of Worship - Jeremy Graeff, leader of Ember Faith Community - Alternative styles of worship can create bridges to an increasingly secular culture and develop greater depth of faith in new and experienced believers. This workshop explores some of the possibilities for creating a space for people to encounter Jesus Christ.
DM03 - Putting Children First! - Lucy Heisy, Lititz UMC Director of Children’s Ministry - Learn how to have a powerful Children's Ministry at your church with Irresistible programming, Blessing the Children, Worshipping with Children, Making Child Friendly Churches, and Building Relationships.

SE01 - Action for Substance Abuse Prevention - Carol Kuntz, Lititz ASAP and Executive Director of Compass Mark - Drugs are in our community. This local Lititz group has been formed to educate and work toward a better community. Hear their story and how a grassroots group can be formed.
SE02 - What a Difference the Church Could Make! - Dianne Berlin, NationalSocial Justice Activist and Strategist - Social justice advocacy and coalition building for ordinary people with a passion for God's people, which can be adapted to various issues.
SE03 - Bucking the Trend: Advocating for Better Prisons –Rev. Kent Kroehleris called into the ministries of prison reform, Lancaster City children, ending homelessness, and more.

DM05 - One Bread, One Body: Exploring Cultural Diversity in Worship - Joseph Torres, Worship Leader of New Creation UMC for both the Contemporary English and Traditional Spanish services - Exploring different avenues to incorporate diversity in worship through the Arts.
DM06 - How to Reach Our Public School Students with God’s Love - Kori Pennypacker, Executive Director of Bible2School - 15 years reaching students inside and outside church walls - Creative and practical ways your church can reach public school students and their families who do not attend church with God’s love. You will be connected with local organizations who can help in this outreach.

SE05 - Churches Have Seniors with Talents, Abilities, and Needs - Dianne Berlin, Senior Citizen with Experience - Learn to see and use talents that seniors have and find ways to meet their needs.
SE06 - What Is Restorative Justice? Harm or Healing?- Linda Van Til, Lancaster Center for Community Peacemaking Facilitator, EPA Conference Prison Ministry & Restorative Justice team, PA Network Against Torture - Restorative justice looks at bringing together people who do the harm with those who have been harmed in a mediated, safe environment rather than the ordinary strictly punitive approach. Explore restorative justice and skills that can be used in your home, work and community settings to break down the fear and continued escalation of problems. Handouts will be available.
SE07 - Disaster Response Spiritual & Emotional Care– Rev. Rick Rimert - In the aftermath of a disaster or tragedy there is often a great deal of attention paid to the obvious physical damage that results. In recent years as we are confronted by numerous natural and man-made disasters,increased attention has been focused on the spiritual/emotional needs of those affected by these events. This workshop focuses on this growing area of concern.

HG05 - Resolving Conflict - Dr. Keith Braucher, Pastor of Community Life, Hempfield UMC - Conflict within every congregation is normal but if not handled well, it can become destructive. How will we relate to one another as the Body of Christ, especially when we disagree? Perspectives and tools for Holy conversation, conflict resolution, and an introduction to congregational covenant.
