- AsofSeptember30,2012,theDataSystemsurpassedonemilliondatarecordswith920,086ParentSurveyand160,625StudentTravelTallyquestionnairesfrom7,986schoolsin2,722programslocatedinthe50 States and Washington DC.
- AnewreportingfeatureintheDataSystemwaslaunchedthatallowsforaschooltodirectly comparestudenttravelcountsfromtwodatacollectionperiodsandtestforstatisticallysignificantchanges.
- TheNationalCenterreceivedaHarvard Bright Ideas in GovernmentawardforeffortstoengagecommunitiesinschooltraveldatacollectionviatheonlineDataSystem,Evaluation, andDataServices.
Research Program
TheNationalCenterisengagedbothinconductingresearchandevaluationoftheSRTSprogramand
workingwithresearchersacrossthecountrytoprovideassistanceinStateevaluationsofSRTSprograms.
