Sub: ANNUAL RENEWAL SUBSCRIPTION FOR THE YEAR 2009-10
Dear Sirs,
We are pleased to inform you that Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM) of APTMA members held on Friday 27th February 2009 has unanimously passed the following resolution:
“RESOLVED
· That APTMA Annual Subscription and different Contributions shall be a total of as Rs.2/- per spindle, Rs.20/- per rotor, Rs.57/- per conventional loom and Rs.232/- per shuttle-less loom installed, effective from the year 2009-10.
· That Admission Fee for new membership shall be Rs.25,000/-.
· That maximum annual subscription (including all other contributions) applicable to any one member shall be Rs.200,000/-.
· That outstanding dues including all philanthropic contributions of defaulting members upto and including 2008-09 are hereby waived off. However, a defaulting member who pays his subscription for the year 2008-09 by 15th March 2009 shall be eligible to retain his membership rights.”
As per Rule 11 Sub Rule 5 (a & b) payment of ANNUAL RENEWAL SUBSCRIPTION for the year 2009-10 (1st April to 31st March each year) has fallen due to be paid on or before the 31ST MARCH 2009. Contents of said Rule 11-5(a-b) of the Trade Organizations Rules-2007 are reproduced below:
“Rule 11(5): The membership shall be renewable on annual basis subject to fulfillment of following conditions, namely:-
(a) payment of prescribed subscription within the time stipulated in the memorandum, which shall not be later than 31st of March; and
(b) proof of filing return of income tax and sales tax, if applicable, for the preceding year.”
Therefore members are requested to kindly pay Annual Renewal Subscription and other dues as per Article 12 (a) - (e), as described in the following table:

As per part of the decision of the EOGM the maximum annual subscription (including all other contributions) applicable to any one member shall be Rs.200,000/-.
Kindly note that the concerned members wishing to retain their membership rights may pay their Subscription for the year 2008-09 latest by 15TH MARCH 2009.
As provided under Article 8(c), all members are also requested to send a copy of TCO (Tex 1-5) Return submitted to the TCO office for the month of February 2009 to APTMA Principal Office, Karachi.
Please note that the renewal of Membership Certificate will be issued on receipt of the above documents and payment of Annual Subscription & Contributions within due date.
