The meeting was called to order by the President, John Guercio at 7:05pm. The pledge of allegiance was recited.
Meeting Minutes from April, 2016 were approved. Motion: 1st Lisa Williams 2nd Michelle Kuhn
Coach Anuszek was in attendance. Coach plans to hand out helmets on May 19th before the Spring Fling which will be held May 30th-June 2nd. They are excited about preparing for this week.
He also brought a replica of the “game ball” used for game ball sponsorship program.
Not Present. They did present the boosters with a check for $2000 to contribute to the weight room equipment. They also donated all of the paper products ($305) for our Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser.
Equipment Order Executive Board approved the purchase of football only equipment in the amount of $2216.29. It should arrive any day. By a unanimous vote, the general membership agreed to use the rest of the 3,000 budget to purchase a laptop and boombox for Coach Albert. This would put us over approx. $50 making for a total equipment order of $3,050.
Fair Share Donation Letter Daisha Clayton and Nikki Marshall are working together to revise this letter. It will go out as soon as we have the date for mandatory coach’s meeting.
Meeting with 6th Graders The executive board approved the purchase of 24 t-shirts for Coach Albert to take with him to visit 6th graders.
Meeting with Jim PerlikScott Kuhn, Rob Mika, and John Guercio will meet to discuss potential field plans. (concessions,etc)
Meeting with New AD (Gear/Plans) Waiting for the new AD to help us purchase 7 on 7 gear. He has a supplier.
The Executive Board approved the purchase of the yearly membership renewal for our website at $145.
Treasurers Report-Patty SamesBalance as of $41,996.74 with no outstanding checks. Motion to approve 1st Danielle Colecchi 2nd Adrianne Burke
Spaghetti Dinner –Tony ColecchiThere are still a lot of unreturned tickets. Setup will be at 12pm. He plans to make a placemat thanking all of our donors.
Concessions-Marcy Collins No news.
Game Balls- Mike Mason Currently have 3 sponsors. Plans to reach out to local Vandergrift businesses in the next few weeks.
Fundraising-Teresa Custer No news.
Programs- Danielle ColecchiShe is waiting for the theme of the games from our new AD.
Merchandise- Michelle Kuhn No news.
