No extra fee for teams in classes 1 and 3. Teams of 3/4 with 3 scores to count.

AWARDSTeam rosettes to 6th. Individual rosettes to 10th per section. Prizes in kind 1st to 3rd place. Rosette to best AVHPC member in classes 1, 3 & 5.

INFORMATION

The competition will be run in accordance with the Pony Club Eventing Rules 2017.

All competitors are advised to read – they can be found online at main PC website

ENTRIES ARE LIMITED AND CLASSES WILL CLOSE WHEN FULL.

This maybe earlier than closing date of Friday June 16th

Refund Policy:
Withdrawals prior to close of entries: Full refund
Withdrawals after close of entries (16th June) and before Wednesday 21st June: 50% refund provided space can be filled. In the event space cannot be filled: No Refund.
Withdrawals after times issued: No Refund.
Times will be available on the evening of Thursday 22nd June 2017 on the Avon Vale PC website: www://pcuk.org/avonvale
In the event of cancellation £10 of each individual entry fee will be retained to defray expenses.
No horse or pony may compete in more than one class.
Preferably no dogs – if they have to come they must be kept on short leads at all times.
All litter to be taken home, and no trailers/lorries to be mucked out on site.
The Judges decision is final. In the event of a dispute or objection arising, an objection in writing together with £15 must be lodged with the secretary within 30 minutes of the incident. The decision of the jury will be final.
Paper numbers will be provided on the day
Course will be open for walking on Saturday 24thJuly from 14 -17.30pm
Stabling – There is limited stabling available at West Wilts for the Saturday night. Please book direct with WWEC Office on 01225 783220
If a horse/rider combination is eliminated in show jumping, they will not be allowed to go XC
Bad language is deemed unseemly behaviour and will incur elimination
Please will all drivers obey the instructions of the car park stewards. Failure to do so will result in removal from ground.
Entries sent by Special Delivery will NOT be accepted
Entry forms must be written clearly! We cannot be blamed for spelling your name or pony’s name incorrectly or for putting you in the wrong class if we can’t read your form!
If sections in Classes 1 and 3 are full PC members will be moved into 2 and 4 if there is space.

LEGAL LIABILITY

1)Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.

2)The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.

3) All non Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. The Avon Vale Hunt Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non Members and their insurance will not cover you.
