CASE #10-4422 BREAKING AND ENTERINGOn Friday, November 5, 2010, Sgt Turner received a call from a resident of Kingwood who stated that the outbuildings along Route 72 south of Kingwood, near Preston, had been broken into. This is a continuing investigation.

CASE #10-4433 BREAKING AND ENTERINGOn Saturday, November 6, 2010, Cpl Pritt responded to the Independence area in regards to a breaking and entering complaint. The victim’s garage had been broken into and items stolen. This is a continuing investigation.

CASE #10-4444 BURGLARYOn Saturday, November 6, 2010, Deputy Mitter responded to a burglary complaint in Arthurdale. Several tools were reported missing. This is a continuing investigation.

CASE #10-4440 ROBBERYOn Saturday, November 6, 2010, a call was received by the Preston 911 center of an armed robbery occurring at a local business in Hazelton. This is a continuing investigation.

CASE #10-4448 SUSPICIOUS EVENTOn Sunday, November 7, 2010, Deputy Baggett received a call from a resident of Newburg who stated that an unknown person dressed in all black had run through her yard and into the woods.

CASE #10-4452 LARCENYOn Monday, November 8, 2010, Deputy Sinclair received a call from a resident of Reedsville who stated that his license plate had been stolen from his vehicle. The license number is 7Z-2930.

CASE #10-4457 LARCENYOn Monday, November 8, 2010, Deputy Sinclair received a call from a victims whose license plate was stolen while parked at the intersection of Route 92 and Dogtown Road. The license plate number is 7JE-966.

CASE #10-4469 SHOPLIFTINGOn Monday, November 8, 2010, Deputy Baggett responded to a local business in Kingwood in regards to a shoplifting complaint. The suspect was caught and arrested and transported to Tygart Valley Regional Jail.

CASE #10-4479 BURGLARYOn Tuesday, November 9, 2010, Deputy Mitter received a call from a resident of Terra Alta who stated that a shotgun and his Yamaha Grizzly 4-wheeler had been stolen. This is a continuing investigation.

CASE #10-4485 LARCENYOn Tuesday, November 9, 2010, Cpl Root received a call from a resident of Tunnelton who stated 2 chainsaws were stolen from their porch. This is a continuing investigation.

CASE #10-4495 LARCENYOn Wednesday, November 10, 2010, Cpl Bryan received a call from a resident of Bruceton Mills who stated that items were coming up missing from a local cemetery. If you notice any suspicious activities please call in to our officers.

CASE # 1230-12701 BURGLARY On Saturday, October 30, 2010, Sr. Tpr. Simmons received a call regarding a burglary on Pell Road near Kingwood. Various tools and copper wire were stolen. This is a continuing investigation.

CASE # 1230-12709 ENGAGE IN BUSINESS WITHOUT A LICENSE On Thursday, November 4, 2010, Sr. Tpr. Daugherty and Sr. Tpr. Simmons responded to the Newburg area regarding subjects selling Kirby vacuums. The suspect was identified and charged with engaging in business without a license.

CASE #1230-12711 GRAND LARCENY On Saturday, November 6, 2010, Sr. Tpr. White responded to a larceny complaint near Mt. Nebo regarding stolden kayaks and various kayak equipment. This is an ongoing investigation.

CASE # 1230-12712 BURGLARY On Saturday, November 6, 2010, Sgt. DeBerry responded to a burglary on Morgan Mine Road near Reedsville. Guns and cash were stolen from the residence. This is an ongoing investigation.

CASE # 1230-12716 LARCENY On Thursday, November 11, 2010, Cpl. Myers received a larceny complaint on Arthur Rd. in Reedsville regarding a stolen Jennings MDL 9mm pistol. This is an ongoing investigation.

CASE # 1230-12717 DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY On Thursday, November 11, 2010, Sr. Tpr. Simmons responded to Reedsville regarding a DOP complaint. A resident on Valley Street had three windows on his residence broken. This is a continuing investigation.
