WHEN: June 11th thru 14th from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM

WHERE: Blue Springs South High School Gym

COST: $65 per camper

Dear Parents,

The Blue Springs South basketball staff welcomes the opportunity to work with boys in the greater Kansas Cityarea who are interested in developing solid fundamental skills in the game ofbasketball. During “I Got Game” camp, we will emphasize teachingthose fundamentals, and stress the importance of sportsmanship and team play.

“I Got Game” Camp Organization: Campers will be split into two divisions, so they can compete with others in a similar position as far as age, skill level, etc. are concerned. For example, all boys age 10 and under will participate in drills together and compete against one another in skills contests and 5-on-5 gamesthroughout the week. The other division in camp will be forboys age 11 & older.

“I Got Game” Camp Daily Activities:

  • Individual drills (defense, dribbling, passing, shooting, etc.) and instruction focused on the fundamentals
  • 1-on-1 and2-on-2 tournament action
  • Individual skills competitions
  • Each camper will play 2 full court(5-on-5) gameseach day

  • The Blue Springs South HS basketball staff – Assistants Joe Buffington, Drew Moore, and others
  • Current members of the Blue Springs South Jaguars basketball program

CAMP ADMINISTRATOR – Head Coach Josh Smith

Coach Smith has beenan assistant on the Blue Springs South basketball staff for 13 years. During that time, the Jaguars have won five district championships, made three Elite Eight appearances, and won the 2015 Missouri Class 5 State Championship.

Campers - Please come dressed in appropriate basketball shorts/shoes and be ready to play by 12:00 PM

  • On-site registration begins at 11:15 AM, June 11th at Blue Springs South (commons area right outside the main gym)
  • You must have a signed parent release at that time plus your camp fee in order to participate.
