The SportDOG Brand® ProStaff consists of top professional dog trainers throughout the US & Canada. This ProStaffis comprised of both trainers with decades of dog training experience and upcoming trainers. Our trainers specialize in everything from upland, hound, and waterfowl to protection dog training. We take great pride in our ProStaff and are always open to adding more hard-working, dedicated trainers to the SportDOG Brand ProStaff.

The SportDOG Brand Prostaff is a group of highly trained in all aspects of our product lines so they can answer consumer questions as well as help train and educate dealer and retail staff. You may have the opportunity to help dealers with everything from selling our products and giving seminars to answering dog training questions. You may also be asked to help our dealers and retailers host successful events. This requires a tremendous amount of SportDOG product knowledge and deep understanding of various dog training styles. As such, you will need to spend time learning our products and be able to talk training tools and their proper applications. We will assist you in learning our full range of products to help you feel comfortable when talking to consumers and retail employees.

We know the idea of working in the outdoor industry sounds really cool… and it can be, but you have to remember that it is an extension of your day to day job. We rely on our Prostaff to help with product ideas, field test products,provide photos, and write blogs/training tips etc. We feel that belonging to the Prostaff is more than just hunting & training dogs and we take our individual and collective responsibilities to our consumers, dealers, the company, and to the Prostaff quite seriously.It is a fun and rewarding opportunity, but it also comes with a high level of responsibility.

Being a part of this special team requires hard work and a commitment of time and energy that many cannot make. SportDOG Brand welcomes anyone who feels they have what it takes to be a part of our ProStaff program, but we want to stress up front that ours is a team effort so you must be a team player or you will not fit into this group. If you can meet these criteria, then we welcome your application.

Below is a list of requirements you will need to do to submit your application to SportDOG Brand for review.

Note: All applications and photos (jpegs only) will need to be emailed to in one email. If all requirements below are not met, applications will NOT be reviewed.

  1. Complete ProStaff application.
  2. Take 3-4 head shot photos of you to send in with application (Photos need to be from the chest up and fairly close. Best time to do photos is early morning or late evening.)
  3. Take 4-5 photos of your kennels to send in with application.
  4. A bio about yourself that includes how you got started in hunting/dog training, what type of dog training you do, and accomplishments/awards you have received (dogs you have titled etc…).
