FIFE RIDING CLUB FIELD GLENROTHES

Come and try combined training with a difference ! Ride a dressage test then complete a pleasure / taster ride ( 16km/8 km) ). All dressage tests and warm up on all weather surfaces, then pleasure / taster ride on purpose built bridle paths and grassy tracks. Lots of rosettes and a fun event !

8 / Prelim 7 + Pleasure ride / Horse /rider combination not to regularly compete at Novice level / £17 for SERC / FRC members, £27 for nonmembers
9 / Novice 28 + Pleasure ride / Horse /rider combination not to regularly compete at Elementary level / £17 for SERC/ FRC members, £27 for nonmembers

Pleasure / taster rides must be ridden between 8 and 11 km/ hour and awards are made if horse returns from ride sound and with a low heart rate.

Pleasure ride placings are calculated using the French formula as below

Dressage tests available from British Dressage or dressagediagrams.com

Competitors must start out on the Pleasure / Taster ride within one hour of completing their dressage test.Pleasure mileage only counts for end of year awards.

Camping , corralling and stabling available.
