STAGE 1ARMY CADET RANK BADGES
1.General:
In the Army Cadet program you can advance in rank depending on the training completed. It is important that Air Cadets know the rank structure of the other cadet programs. The ranks named in this lesson are generic. Actual name given to each rank is dependent on the type of army unit the corps is affiliated with, for example a private isreferred to as a private in the infantry, a sapper in the engineers, and a gunner in an artillery unit.
2.Junior Ranks:
Are referred to as Junior Non-commissioned Members (NCMS). They include:
a.Private:(also referred to as Lance Corporal)
This Badge consists of a single chevron.
b.Corporal
This badge consists of two chevrons.
c.Master Corporal
This badge consists of two chevrons and a maple leaf.
3.Senior Ranks:
Are referred to as senior NCM’s. They include:
a.Sergeant
This badge containsthree chevrons and a maple leaf.
b.Warrant Officer
This rank badge is symbolized by a Tudorcrown.
c.Master Warrant Officer
This rank consists of a Tudor crown surrounded by a wreath.
d.Chief Warrant Officer
This rank is represented by the Canadian Coat of Arms.
CONFIRMATION STAGE 1
1.There are two types of Army Cadet ranks. What are they?
Answer:Junior And Senior NCM’s.
2.What are the three Junior Ranks?
Answer:Private, Corporal and Master Corporal.
3.What is the second Warrant Officer rank called?
