WP3 / D10. Criteria to select candidate cultivars / Old, autochtonous, neglected, small scale varieties available with local farmers (see definitions on A. Schneider presentation). As far as possible they should be virus free (visual checking), however this is not a strict condition to accept or reject potentially interesting varieties. / MDVS and MB (DOFI)

1. Virus tests to identify virus free plants (to be done as confirmation)
2. Analysis of DNA on 10 plant selected at random in each selected vineyard (in order to verify uniformity and name)
