Today we are going to make a list of animals that we know that stay awake at night. We can talk about the book from read aloud and then talk about other animals that we think may stay awake at night. The teacher will write ideas and draw pictures on the SMART Board Assessment: The students will identify animals that stay awake at night. / Objective: I can create a chart about animals that stay awake at night and animals that do not.
