The exam will cover The Cold War and the AmericasChapters 2 (The USA and the Cold War 1945-61) Pages 18-36 and 3 (The USA and the Cold War 1961-81) Pages 53 - 92
You will have a choice of essay questions from both chapters (you must respond to two essay questions; one from each chapter). Be sure to include a specific thesis statement (argument), to organize your body paragraphs effectively with evidence that supports your thesis, and to utilize specific and accurate historical examples in your response. Each response should be approximately 3-4 paragraphs in length. You will have a choice between the following questions:
