HOW TO REACH THE FINISH ARENA ALPINE/SBD
WALK: Easy access from City Center of Kitzbuehl – 5 minutes walk (follow Sign “Legenden Park” and cross the railway at the little tunnel afterwards). Also possible to hike from the Bottom Station of the Hahnenkamm Gondola (3 minutes walk).
SKI: The Slope 21 “Streif/Familien-Streif” and 22 “Kampen” leads directly to the Rasmusleitn and GanslernFinsh Area.
PARKING GANSLERN
Note – There is no parking at the Zielhaus (RedBull Restaurant) – all athletes and team vehicles have to park at the Ganslern Parking situated just below (free of charge with the KITZSKI lift ticket, if used with skis on the parking day with the Ganslern Chairlift).
FREE INTERNET ACCESS
You may use the Wifi Network “HKR by KSC & unit-IT”, which is accessable at the Zielhaus / RedBull-Restaurant for free. Password:2018race.

- COMPETITIONS
ATHLETES DECLARATION
Please note the basic principle of participation in the events, organized by the Kitzbueheler Ski Club (K.S.C.), is similar to the Athletes Declaration of the International Ski Federation FIS, and will be the contractual basis between Competitors and Organizer:
Athlete Declaration (short)
Ski racing is dangerous. By starting, each participant acknowledge they have inspected and are familiar with the conditions of the race course and cross-country ski trails, their facilities and boundaries, and consider these to be satisfactory, especially with regards to safety precautions. Participants are solely responsible for the proper condition of their racing equipment. Helmets are mandatory when competing in alpine disciplines! Participants are themselves responsible for ensuring they have sufficient accident insurance, which includes “racing risks”.
SEED LISTS
Please bring your official seed list to the race office.
GS & SL TRAINING
Note – during Alpine Training on Sunday and Monday, it is the responsibility of the Athlete to keep distance to others (minimum 20 sec.) and to stop in front of unexpected obstacles (fallen racers, racers equipment, missing gates etc.).
BIB HANDOVER AND RETURNING
The bib handover to the teamcaptains will be at the Zielhaus at race day (Alpine, Snowboard). Be aware, that each bib, which is not returned to the race office after raceday, will be charged with euro 50 to the respective team captain. Bib handover for Nordic will be at the Finish Area.
OFFICIAL NOTICE BOARD (DSQ)
On Race Days Snowboard and Alpine, the Official Notice Board for Disqualifications will be at the balcony of the stairway entrance Zielhaus. For Cross Country at the Sportloipe, Official Notice Board at the Timing Tent.
LIVETIMING
You can watch Alpine and Snowboard Livetiming on and Nordic (Sprint, Distance) on
WAXROOMS
A container is located near the finish area alpine. Only for wax purposes, no storage. Opening hour 07.00-20.00h. Please contact the race office to arrange details. If assistance needed for Nordic, please contact raceoffice as well.
- SPECIAL GUIDELINES
As the Competitions take place on the original Hahnenkamm Race Courses, some special guidelines have to be respected, especially towards our ground owners, who permit us to stay and compete on their properties:
PRIVATE FOOD & BEVERAGE:
It is absolutely not permitted to bring own food and beverage with you to the race grounds. Only exception on Thursday “Fun-Race”.
ADVERTISING:
Advertising is limited to the official registered brands by IASF and the participating Airlines (Fan-Flags etc.). Placement of banners and flags at the race grounds is limited, only permitted at the Finish Slalom/Giant Slalom (Ganslern) and the Cross Country Finish Area (Sportloipe). In case of questions or doubts please contact the Race Office (Mandi) and follow instructions and advices in case of.
MEDIA:
All media on race grounds shall be accredited to be registered and recognized as official media of the event. Please contact Race office (Barbara). The use of “Drohnes” is not permitted.
