Currently seeking experienced social workers to fill immediate full and part time positions in Flint, MI. This is a unique opportunity to do important work while broadening experience and credentials. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Social Work with a LMSW license. (School Certification NOT Required)

Responsibilities of the Elementary School Social Worker (LMSW)

  • Be a part of a rewarding and challenging team assisting the needs of children and adolescents affected by the Flint water crisis.
  • Provide direct social work services.
  • Identify and assess levels of risk and need.
  • Maintain up to date assessments, care plans and reviews for all cases.
  • Provide counseling to patient and family.

Requirements of the Elementary School Social Worker (LMSW)

  • LMSW (Licensed Master’s Social Work) Michigan
  • Master's degree in Social Work
  • Knowledge and training in counseling techniques
  • High integrity including maintenance of confidential information including all patient records
  • Flexible and reliable
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Valid Driver’s license

Compensation of the Elementary School Social Worker (LMSW)

Salary: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour range
