Members Present: Sharon Ashton, Lucy Croft, Marianne Jaffee

  1. Review of Sociology and Anthropology:
  • Pictures on the Sociology and Anthropology pages need to be clearly defined.
  • Anthropology faculty order needs to be corrected.
  • On the Sociology and Social Welfare pages would like to have more social interaction photos with students/instructors.
  • On the Program of study webpage, correct photo with shoes/backside of person showing.
  • On homepage, Sharon would like a wow factor. Suggestion of adding student/faculty highlights of the past semester.
  • In the Contact us section please have Building 51 link to the campus map.
  • Sharon Ashton made a motion to approve the Sociology and Anthropology webpage’s. Lucy Croft seconded, and Marianne Jaffee third. Pages approved.
  1. Review of International Studies:
  • Clearly define what International Studies is on the homepage. Suggestion to move/copy the opening paragraphs on the Program of Study page to the homepage to explain what International Studies is.
  • Under Majors, Capstone shouldn’t be capitalized.
  • Sharon Ashton made a motion to approve the Sociology and Anthropology webpage’s. Lucy Croft seconded, and Marianne Jaffee third. Pages approved.
  1. NCATE:
  • COEHS asked to have the NCATE link on the main page for two weeks (December 15th-29th) to comply with accreditation.
  • Marianne Jaffee will give COEHS the amount of words allowed and have them come up with the wording for the main page.

ACTION ITEM: Marianne Jaffee to send Joanna Norris information about NCATE to do a press release.

  1. Library Migration:
  2. Marianne Jaffee is waiting to hear from the Library.
  3. Fred Sudler can devote resources to doing the Library webpage.
  4. Move agenda item Library Migration to December 9th.
  1. Should next unit sit in on approval process?:
  2. Discussion of whether or not the next unit should sit in on the approval process the week prior to their pages being reviewed.
  3. Marianne Jaffee to come to the reveal meetings to push across the “Wow” factor for each homepage of a department.
  1. Timeline for completion:
  • Lucy Croft asked if there was a tentative timeline for completion of the CMS migration process of all UNF webpage’s. Lucy asked if next summer was a good timeframe.
  • Marianne Watters was unable to give a completed timeline/timeframe for the migration of pages to be complete.

Meeting ended at 5:10 p.m., next IPC meeting will be held on Thursday, December 9th at 3:30 p.m. in the Tampa/Orlando Conference Rooms at UNF Hall.
