Resolution No. 49-BOD-09
“Expressing the sincerest appreciation of the Association of Pacific Island Legislatures to Mr. Chris Sampson and Mr. Ian MacDonald for their presentation on December 4th, 2008 at the APIL 49th Board of Directors Meeting in Majuro, Republic of the Marshall Islands.”
WHEREAS, the APIL 49th Board of Directors Meeting was held in Majuro, Republic of the Marshall Islands, December 4-5, 2008; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Chris Sampson, Deputy Secretary, Technology and Innovation, Tasmanian Government and Mr. Ian McDonald, Director of ICS Multimedia traveled far to attend the APIL 49th Board of Directors Meeting; and
WHEREAS, ICS Multimedia hosted a wonderful reception for the members of the Board of Directors of APIL on December 3rd, 2008 at the Marshall Islands Resort; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Chris Sampson did a comprehensive presentation to the APIL Board Members on “Integrated Management Systems for Government – A Tasmanian Approach”; and
WHEREAS,the APIL member entities have Island Economies and integrating cutting edge technology in the management of Government resources will advance the island economies with the rest of the world;now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Association of Pacific Island Legislatures, 49th Meeting, December 4-5, 2008, Majuro, Republic of the Marshall Islands, that the Board of Directors, on behalf of the Association of Pacific Island Legislatures expresses its appreciation to Mr. Chris Sampson and Mr. Ian MacDonald for their participation and presentation at its 49th Board of Directors Meeting; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President of the Association of Pacific Island Legislatures certifies, and the Secretary of the Association of Pacific Island Legislatures attests to the adoption hereof and that copies of the same shall be thereafter transmitted to Mr. Chris Sampson and Mr. Ian MacDonald and to the Presiding Legislative Officers and Chief Executives of each of the APIL member jurisdictions.
