Stallspaces are offered for rent on the strict understanding that all stallholders each take personal responsibility for the proper and safe display and sale of all goods, foodstuffs or other products offered. It is up to stall holders to comply with all safety requirements and/or best practice.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR STALLHOLDERS: please retain for reference
- This is an ‘Application Form’ and not a guarantee that you have reserved a space.
- Our emphasis is on: high quality food, grown or made by the stallholder, from as local as possible to Nether Edge. We do try to be fair, but we are always oversubscribed and there is no space for us to get any bigger!
- You will hear from us approx. 5 weeks before the market date if your application has NOT been successful.
- If successful, we will email you approx. 4 weeks before the market with details of your stall/ plot number.
- If your application has been unsuccessful your £30 will bereturned to youvia BACS.
- We operate a one-way system in the Nether Edge Market area. Please enter Nether Edge Road from the traffic lights at the Sheldon Road / Machon Bank junction.
- December stalls should be set up from9.30am and be cleared by5pm.Please don’t vacant your stallbefore 4pm, even if you have run out of produce.
- There is no space to park your vehicle near or next to your stall. Parking space is available along local nearby roads.Please do not park at the bottom of Glen Rd.
- You will be allocated a maximum 3m x 3m space for your stall. If you have a requirement for more than this you must specify this on your application form; increased charges may apply depending on size required and availability.
- Only space is provided: there are no tables or gazebos for you to use, you must bring your own stall set and make sure it is weatherproof and well secured!
- With a few exceptions, there is no electricity provided.
- Emergency toilet facilities areavailable in the Nether Edge Bowling Club/ Byron pub.
- Stallholders handling food are required by law to have undertaken Food Hygiene training (display certificate) and operate in accordance with current UK legislation.
- All stallholders using bottled gas or any other inflammable substance need to bring appropriate safety equipment including fire extinguisher (powder for gas), fire blanket and heat resistant gloves.
- Any generators used must be in good condition and classified as ultra-silent.
- In the event of our cancellation of the market before the due date, your payment will be returned in full or held over for the next market by your instruction.
- In the event that you wish to cancel after being approved, your payment will only be refunded if we are successful in filling your allocated space.
- This is a community run market with only a very few volunteers organising it.Please clear up after the event and do not leave trade waste on site.
The proceeds from stallholder fees are donated to local charities.
March’s market will be supporting Sheffield Family Holiday Fund.
Dates of future markets are: Sunday 19th March, 18thJune, 17th September & 3rd December
