Dear Grandma,

How are you? Have you received H1N1vaccination at the clinic? Mum took baby brother Jim to the hospital for vaccination yesterday. He cried loudly during the injection.

A nurse came to our school yesterday and told us about personal hygiene. She told us to wash our hands more often to keep them clean. We should not rub our eyes, nose or mouth with our hands if our hands are dirty. Also, we should avoid crowded places. When we do not feel well, we should wear a mask and go to see the doctor. We should sneeze into tissue paper and put it into a bin with a lid.

Staying healthy is also a way to prevent getting sick. It is important to have a balanced diet. Eating more vegetables and fruit is good for our health because they are rich in nutrients like vitamins and minerals. It is good to do more exercise, too.

We are going hiking this Sunday. Will you come and join us?

Love,

Lydia
