Job Summary:
The Business Leader will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and company objectives. In this role, you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the Plant, manage complex issues, coordinate long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Essential Responsibilities:
In addition, you will:
· Manage business initiatives to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety
· Analyze production labor requirements, implementing appropriate capacity decisions within budget
· Drive key business improvement initiatives including; EHS, Six Sigma, shop productivity, lean, quality and inventory cycle reductions
· Provide leadership in problem resolution, resource utilization, and career coaching
· Assist in budgeting and forecasting for production planning
· Works on complex technological solutions
· Practice constraint management by identifying business constraints and creatively developing new solutions and methods
· Communicates recommendations and solutions across direct organization and with cross-functional partner organizations
· Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications / Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing role
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role
· Minimum of 5 years of Manufacturing experience
· Strong mathematical, analytical, writing and communication skills.
· Legal Authorization to work in the United States
· Ability to read/write/speak English
Desired Characteristics:
· Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Engineering
· Knowledge of CNC programming with CAM Software (preferably Gibbs CAM)
· Experience with various M&ME to measure machined features.
· Working knowledge of CNC programming and Haas / Mazak Machining centers
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
· Prior experience or equivalent Quality training
· Ability to work in a cross-functional environment
· Strong analytical skills with ability to identify critical issues
· Strong propensity for excelling in a demanding environment
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Work Environment:
· May be exposed to noise, dust, fumes, airborne particles, smoke (Not over OSHA Permissible Exposure Levels).
· Safety training and equipment are provided by MPP in accordance with applicable law, industry standards and company policy.
