2008 Summer T-Ball and Coach Pitch

T-Ball This league concentrates on the basics of baseball, teaching the skills and keeping a low-key approach to the game. It is for children entering Kindergarten or First Grade in the fall.

Coach-Pitch This league is a more skilled game, played without a tee, and either a parent or a coach pitches the ball. It is for children entering Second or Third Grade in the fall.

Your child’s grade next fall determines in which league he/she will play. No exceptions will be made.

Application deadline is April 18 ·× T-Ball games are played at Wexford Park on Tuesday evenings at 6 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. ·× Coach-Pitch games are played at Wexford Park on Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m. and 7:15. ·× League starts June 3 concluding the week of July 28. No games will be played the week of July 1. Each team will play one game per week.

·× Team rosters are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Send applications in early. ·× You can request your child play on a team with his/her playmate. List child's name on the application. However, we cannot guarantee your request.

·× After the coaches’’ meeting, which takes place around the second week of May, you will be contacted by your coach with team practice schedules. (Please be Patient). You will hear from us if your child did not get placed on a team.

·× The $25 fee will include: Tees, Bats, Balls, Bases, Helmets, Catchers Equipment, Tee-Shirts and Team Hats.

·× Parents are responsible for: Gloves, snacks and drinks at the games. This league has been successful because of the terrific support and involvement that comes from the parents. All the head coaches and assistants are volunteer parents. Please think about volunteering.
