Hello, my name is Ljiljana. Welcome to the Release 9 Training for Oracle Applications Cloud Financials for APAC Enhancements. In this session, we’ll cover the Regional and Country-Specific enhancements for this release.

In Oracle Applications Cloud Release 9, we are delivering the regional and country-specific enhancements for EMEA, the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, Canada, China and Singapore. In this Release 9 training we’ll discuss the following enhancements to the features for China and Singapore:

This section explains the enhancements made to the Export Shared Information Data for China: Enterprise and Export General Ledger Data for China: Enterprise process.

In Release 9, Export Shared Information Data for China: Enterprise and Export General Ledger Data for China: Enterprise processes are enhanced to export the settlement method record in XML files.

Settlement Method is used to show the payment method in Account Payables and receipt method in Account Receivables.

In Release 9, Export Shared Information Data for China: Enterprise and Export General Ledger Data for China: Enterprise process is enhanced to export the project number record in XML file.

Project Number is used as a subsidiary account.

This section explains the enhancements made to the Input Tax Gain/Loss Report for Singapore and the Output Tax Gain/Loss Report for Singapore.

Use the Input Tax Gain/Loss Report for Singapore to list the tax gain or loss on purchase invoices entered in a foreign currency.

Use the Output Tax Gain/Loss Report for Singapore to list the tax gain or loss on sales transactions created in a foreign currency.

For Release 9, these reports are enhanced to include another reporting level. In addition to ledger and legal entity, you can now prepare the reports by tax registration number.

You can also select and print transactions based on the transaction tax point date.

To group your transactions, specify a tax reporting type and tax reporting code when you run the reports.

Tax reports for Singapore provide all the required information for mandatory tax reporting. Purchase and sales transactions are reported based on transaction tax point basis and tax point date.

User can assign the duty role Enterprise Financial Data Export for China Duty or Enterprise Financial and Employee Data Export for China Duty to their job role to export the project and settlement method along with other financial data for china.
