A meeting co-organized by ETSI and EC DG CONNECT
December 11, 2013
10:00 – 16:30
Hotel THON, Rue de la Loi 75, 1040, Brussels
On 4 December 2012 in Cannes, ETSI and a series of partners launched the Cloud Standards Coordination in order to cater to the European Commission request expressed in the Cloud Strategy to
“Promote trusted and reliable cloud offerings by tasking ETSI to coordinate with stakeholders in a transparent and open way to identify by 2013 a detailed map of the necessary standards (inter alia for security, interoperability, data portability and reversibility)”
On 11 December 2013, after a week and a year of hard work performed by 200+ industry experts in 6 working groups, a myriad of conference calls, several physical encounters including 2 stocktaking meetings, a Cloud Interoperability Week, some fears and lots of unexpected nuggets found on the way,
ETSI and DG Connect are pleased to invite you to the event where the output of the Cloud Standards Coordination will be delivered to the European Commission.
Come and meet industry and policy experts, hear about the journey, the findings and the hurdles, the experience built and what it tells to the standards communities, participate in the discussion and help shape the next steps.
