PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT FOR FY04 PROGRAM YEAR

(October 2004 to September 2005)

Thank you for your interest in MIATCO and Food Export USA’s Export Essentials OnlineSM. Below you’ll find the terms and conditions of this activity accompanied by a registration form. To register, simply read the information below and return the completed two page agreement.

Participation Terms and Conditions

MIATCO and Food Export USA’s Export Essentials OnlineSM agrees to provide only the following:

  1. Provide access to an online export education course that gives a comprehensive overview of exporting through text, useful links, and downloadable documents.
    The 10 modules included in the course cover the following topics:
  1. Exploring Export Options
  2. Market Research
  3. The Export Marketing Mix
  4. Strategic Planning
  5. International Marketing Activities
  6. Pricing, Quoting & Terms of Sale
  7. Logistics & Physical Distribution
  8. Documentation & Procedures
  9. Payment Methods & Strategies
  10. Exporting- A Business of Details
  1. A private login and password will be assigned to each user.
  2. Provide educational materials related to value added food exporting.
  3. Provide assistance with technical difficulties that may arise from navigating the online course.

Participating Company agrees to: (Please initial each statement)

  1. Be a U.S. exporter of Midwest and Northeast -origin food & agricultural products or ingredients. ___
  2. Submit a completed participation agreement to MIATCO and Food Export USA before obtaining access to the course. ____
  3. Indemnify MIATCO and Food Export USA from any financial loss or other claims resulting from participation in and utilization of MIATCO and Food Export USA’s Export Essentials OnlineSM _____
  4. Acknowledge that MIATCO and Food Export USA shall have no other obligations beyond those detailed above, and that any other services desired or negotiated with any third party are not a part of this agreement. ____
  5. Complete an evaluation of this service and provide information regarding increased export sales and an estimate of company’s financial contributions to participate in the activity. ____
  6. Keep their assigned username and password confidential and not share it with outside sources who could then access the course. _____

Termination of Agreement: Either party may cancel this agreement without cause on 30 days written notice. In the event of termination of this agreement prior to the execution of the activities outlined above, MIATCO and Food Export USA shall have no obligation to the participating company under this agreement.
