Questionnaire Feedback Nov 2017
Thank you to all the parents who took the time to complete the questionnaire. We value feedback in order to quality assure the provision and make improvements. The highlights were as follows:
· 100% of parents strongly agreed/agreed that their child is happy at Beyond.
· 100% of parents strongly agreed/agreed that their child felt safe at Beyond.
· 100% strongly agreed/agreed that staff respond promptly to any issues.
· 98% of parents strongly agreed/agreed that there is a good variety of activites and resources on offer.
· 93% of parents agreed that payment for the sessions is straightforward and 94% that bookings are easy to make.
What the children most enjoy:
The ICT suite is the clear favourite with the most votes / Being outside, playing on scooters and sporty activitiesPlaying pool / Playing dress-up
Making the dinosaur with Jayne! / Enjoys cars
Enjoys craft, the range of crafts and Staff helping to do the craft/sewing / Seeing/playing with friends. He loves making new friends and playing games with them.
What the children least enjoy:
· She doesn’t like to be picked up too early!
Some further comments:
Pleased with the use of the Reception Hall for younger children.
Please could you open earlier and provide breakfast provision.
Nice sandwich/evening meal for the children.
Evening meal, milk and hot food.
It will be really great if they can provide breakfast as well in the Before School Club.
Children to be offered a healthy snack (fruits) before class.
More outside toys for older children – eg scooters, footballs etc.
Publish a timetable of B&A activities.
New payment system is less clear.
School Gateway is fine/paying is easy, but paying by term/half term is difficult to reconcile with monthly budget/childcare vouchers.
The payment system is a bit convoluted and much scope for improvement.
Online booking and a transparent system will be good to have.
Splitting the morning/afternoon sessions has made payment more complicated.
It would be helpful to send a confirmation of places at the beginnning of term.
My daughter really enjoys Beyond and as parents we feel very lucky that she is in a very happy, safe environment.

Many thanks for being flexible and taking the last minute bookings as my work schedule is sometimes difficult to predict.
Can I also take this opportunity to say how happy we are with BEYOND. My son absolutely loves going there and all the staff (especially Angie) are fantastic and so friendly – not just with me, but with him as well - they are an absolute credit to Warren Road.
Friendly staff.
Only been a month but very impressed with the friendly staff - I know my child is in good hands.
Actions
Breakfast/Dinner – a healthy snack is already provided after school and we will again look into the practicalities and cost of introducing more.
Resources - These have been further enhanced as the school has recently acquired more equipment from another school that was closing down. We have also just taken delivery of a large craft order for Christmas activities, 6 tablets for the younger children, a Wii for Y6 and placed an order for a new football table.
Admin - has been strengthened this half term with the addition of Mrs Peek to the team. The club was split in order to generate automatic and separate registers for each venue and session.There are some shortcomings with the existing Clubs system which is a module within our Schoolcomms system and we are investigating the availability of other Club software to improve the booking and payment of sessions.
The comments will be discussed with the Beyond management team, prioritised and incorporated within the School Development Plan.
