Kindergarten Corner

November 4-8, 2013
Dear Parents,
We have successfully completed all of our nine weeks testing, running records and report card assessments! The children have worked very hard. We have learned so much this nine weeks and we are so proud of their accomplishments!
Please be aware of the schedule for the beginning of next week. On Monday, November 4th, we will dismiss at 1:00pm. Please let us know if your child’s dismissal plans will be different from their daily dismissal routine. On Tuesday, November 5th, school will not be in session due to a staff development day.

●  Identify the letters/sounds Y and U.
·  Identify more, fewer, and the same using one-to-one correspondence.
·  Compare life in the present to the past.

Please read every night with your child! / Resource Schedule:

Remember to dress your child appropriately for P.E. on Wednesday and to return his/her library book on Friday.

  • Check Agendas nightly and return them to school daily. Return the blue Friday folder. Keep papers unless they are noted to be returned.

Conference forms were sent home in last week’s Friday folder. Please complete the form and return as soon as possible, as spaces are filling up quickly. We will send a confirmation slip in your child’s agenda with your assigned conference time. If you are unable to come that evening and would like to schedule a conference on a different day/time, please note that on the form and we will contact you to set up a conference.
