During the period of appointment it may become necessary to make changes to an External Examiner’s appointment to meet the needs of the programme or Faculty. Any proposed changes should first be discussed and agreed with the External Examiner.

This form should be used for changes to the external examiner’s remit and should be accompanied by the list of modules currently examined (which can be downloaded as an MIS report – please liaise with your School Registrar).

All changes of appointment must be completed by and checked within the Faculty and then forward to the Academic Registry by the School Registrar. Documentation will then be presented for approval by the External Examiner Approval Panel on behalf of Senate.

Please note: All personal contact details will be held on a secure database for the purposes of contacting externals in relation to their appointment with Bucks New University only, in accordance with Data Protection Legislation. This does not include the examiner’s name or current position which will be published in accordance with QAA requirements.
