Sasha earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and remained at KU to complete her MBA. She formerly worked for Phizer and Accenture Foundation, and she is currently a part-time consultant. She is a member of the Kansas City Network board, and she co-chairs this year’s Rock Chalk Ball committee; she also led the group in 2017.Sasha and her husband, Al (who holds three KU degrees), have attended numerous balls, and they have served as honorary co-chairs. Sasha also has volunteered for Jayhawks for Higher Education and the Emily Taylor Center advisory board. As a KU student, she was a member of the Hispanic American Leadership Organization, Mortar Board and the Center for Community Outreach; she received the Rusty Leffel Concerned Student Award. She and Al have a daughter and two sons.

Taylor completed his bachelor’s and doctoral degrees in pharmacy and a master’s degree in health services administration. He is a diabetes medical liaison for Ely Lilly & Co., where he also has worked as a peer-to-peer trainer. He remains connected to the pharmacy school as a volunteer and donor, creating an endowed scholarship named for his father. With his wife, Lisa, c’92, he served on the Far Above campaign committee for the school.Taylor returns to Lawrence often as a guest lecturer to first-year pharmacy students, sharing the value of his KU education and his own career story. He has sponsored pharmacy students who have attended the Rock Chalk Ball, and he is a KU Endowment Chancellors Club member as well as a volunteer for KU Admissions. The Burches have a daughter and a son.
Brenda RoskensDicus, b’83

Early in her career, Brenda worked in marketing, and she is involved in several nonprofit organizations in Topeka. While her three daughters were growing up, she focused her volunteer work on educational and youth sports programs. With her husband, John, b’83, g’85, Brenda has volunteered for the Kansas Honors Program, and she has attended numerous alumni events in Topeka as well as several Rock Chalk Balls. They are members of the Chancellors Club and Williams Education Fund, and they have remained involved with the School of Business, most notably through the Capitol Federal Foundation’s leadership gift to provide the new home for the business school.
Eric Edell, c’76, m’81

Eric is a professor at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, specializing in pulmonary and critical care. He alsodirects the Photodynamic Therapy-Lung Cancer Treatment Program. He maintains several active grants aimed at the prevention of and novel treatment approaches to lung cancers. Hisinnovative approaches have resulted in national and international recognition, and he has traveled worldwide to train other physicians. He also has earned several teaching awards. For KU, he is a member of the Medical Alumni Association board. He and his wife, Rosemary, f’77, have one daughter.

David is vice president of Goldman, Sachs & Co. He earned his KU degree in mechanical engineering. As an alumnus, he has served on the Chicago Network board, and he has attended numerous KU events in Chicago as well as the Rock Chalk Ball. He served as moderator for the Association’s 2017 Chicago Entrepreneurship career networking event, which became a model for future career events. He and his wife, Joan, have two daughters and a son.

Peter is an attorney with Clark, Mize & Linville and lead legal counsel for the Salina Regional Health Foundation. He is a longtime KU volunteer for Jayhawks for Higher Education and serves on the Steering Committee. He has attended numerous alumni events in Salina, Wichita and Kansas City, and he volunteers as a mentor for KU students. Peter and his wife, Sara, a two-time KU graduate and a physician, have contributed to the Kansas Honors Program, and they are involved in numerous civic organizations in Salina. For KU Endowment, they are Chancellors Club members. They have two daughters.
