JOB TITLE: ESF – SKILLS & QUALITY MANAGERReporting to: Head of Service – ESF Contracts Manager
Role Overview:
· To work alongside the Head of Service – ESF Contracts Manager to ensure Quality Assurance is robust (throughout the London & the South East) and that quality monitoring is taking place across its operational areas of responsibility, whilst continually improving to drive successful outcomes across all contracts to established quality standards.
· To identify all quality issues and risks and identify and implement improvement strategies.
Principle Accountabilities:
· Implement a schedule of quality monitoring for the contract, reporting the outputs of that to the Head of Service – ESF Contracts Manager.
· To provide a quality key driver report of all quality assurance functions on a monthly basis highlighting issues, risks, good practice, improvements and efficiencies. This should include identification of any performance issues that may affect the contract
· Maintaining a good working relationship with all Subcontractors and Support Services whilst monitoring partner performance and quality of delivery.
· Create a continuous improvement plan for the contract.
· Lead and manage the Self Assessment process across the contract with responsibility for driving the continuous improvement plan contributing to the Company SAR.
· Contribute to and support the improvement of the wider IXION Quality Assurance Strategy.
· Update your own practice and development, and manage your own CPD Log.
· High level planning and management of observations to ensure that the correct minimum service levels and delivery are provided, in line with the contract.
· Work with subcontractors to plan the wider training needs of all delivery staff across all contracts.
· To lead on the collation and reporting of feedback across the contract providing analysis from which to forge improvements.
· To follow all quality assurance documentation and processes ensuring they are maintained in a controlled document system and linked to all delivery processes.
· To support continuous improvement including staff working towards or having achieved the highest and most appropriate level qualification for their role.
· Upholding quality standards as required by the ESF and any other as required by the business.
· Strive to continually improve the quality of service provided by IXION and the quality of the customer journey
· Undertaking duties as appropriate towards meeting IXION’s company targets in line with company strategy.
· Understand, contribute towards and adhere to all responsibilities to ensure that the quality requirements of Ixion’s Quality Assurance Framework, funding body, Investors in People, or any other contract stakeholder, are maintained.
Monitoring and evaluation activities:
· Understand all aspects of e-portfolio, digital signature and e management systems linked to training and delivery and monitor against the quality of information contained within.
· Work with the Head of Service - Quality to support all quality issues within sub-contractors/ Associates.
· Input/collate, report data for monitoring delivery to enable compliant claims for funder payment
· Produce reports highlighting quality issues and risks for all delivery and feedback findings
· Continually evaluate the service being offered to customers and drive high standards

· As necessary, and in addition to the above, undertake other activities commensurate with the nature of the post or as directed by your line manager.
· Support with other areas as directed by Head of Service – ESF Contracts.

Experience and Qualifications required
Essential
· 3 years experience of leading, reporting and undertaking quality monitoring across organisations and across a range of funding streams including ESF.
· A1 or equivalent training/assessment related qualification and V1.
· Knowledge of training and/or assessment delivery.
· Competent in use of IT including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint to intermediate user level
