Additional Announcements
--New Sunday School Classes: Young Adults starting in October with CW Waldrop as teacher. Preschool starting in October with Stella as teacher.
--Shoebox Ministry: Samaritan’s Purse shoeboxes are available for pickup from Marie Williams for you to fill. Pack a box, write a $9 check to Samaritan’s Purse to cover postage and bring your boxes to church by Nov. 12. You can also bring items to church for us to pack by Nov. 5. Suggested items: dresses, T-shirts, socks, shoes, flip-flops, hygiene items (but NO liquids and NO toothpaste), balls toys, stuffed animals, school supplies. NO food or candy.
--Trunk or Treat: Signup sheet in hallway for volunteers. Please donate candy, which you can add to the gray bin in the Sunday School hallway. We also need prizes that are kid-oriented, Christian, to include movies, bibles, books, etc. In addition, $10 gift cards for costume contest, trunk contest and raffles.
--Sister Church Celebration: Second Elam Baptist Church, 15601 Cooks Mill Road, Lanexa, will honor Pastor Russell Crawley on his 38th pastoral anniversary with a celebration today at 3 p.m.
