SUBJECT: VENDOR QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS Amendment #1 to A17-RFP-029 – External Independent Quality Assurance (QA) Services for Cloud Enablement Program

Summary:

This document is prepared by the Washington State Consolidated Technology Services (CTS) and shall serve as the sole official reply to Vendor Questions submitted in response to RFP A17-RFP-029.

Questions and responses are numbered for ease of reference only and are in no particular order or priority. Questions and comments have generally been stated as they were received except that some questions have been modified to maintain vendor confidentiality or to reduce redundancies. The answers may only explain or clarify some aspect that is already addressed in the RFP. Some of the answers may also supplement or change what was previously stated in the RFP or in an appendix. It is important that Vendors review all questions and answers.

1 / What is the total budget limitation of this RFP? / The anticipated budget limitation for the IAMS project is estimated at$22,000 dollars through June 2106. Future projects are subject to funding approval during the 2017 Legislative session.
2 / Please share the details of the incumbent or vendor currently providing the same services along with last year’s expenditure? / There is no incumbent vendor, and therefore no expenditure for last year.
3 / Kindly confirm about the total number of consultants or personnel currently employed under the same contract? / Because there is no incumbent, there are no consultants currently performing this work.
4 / What is the State’s budget for QA services on the IAM through the second quarter of 2017? / The budget is undetermined at this time.
5 / If WaTech utilizes this contract for additional projects in the cloud enablement program (via new statements of work) will the selected vendor be allowed to utilize alternative staff or do all possible staff from our firm need to be included in the response? / Yes, under the purview of RFP Section 5.6.
6 / Please list any upcoming procurements where the selected QA contractor will be precluded from bidding. / CTS is unaware of any.
7 / Is there an incumbent QA vendor that has been performing these services for CTS? / Please see answer to question #2.
8 / Does CTS utilize QA vendor(s) on any other project inside the agency? If so, please list the names of the vendors and the projects. / CTS follows the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) requirements. All QA activities under OCIO oversight are reported on OCIO Project Dashboard:

1)The RFP was released with an incorrect procurement number. The Correct RFP # is A17-RFP-029. All references in the RFP to A17-RFP-019 are corrected to A17-RFP-029.
