The Week of September 12th
Wow! The weeks keep flying by. Please continue to send in a water bottle with your child. Water is the single most important thing your child should have at school. Please make sure that the bottles have a secure cap. Pop up caps are recommended. Please no flavored water only clear plain water.
Apples
Each child is
being encouraged
to bring in one
apple of any kind and color. We will be using these apples for special projects throughout the next two weeks. Please have your child bring his/her apple by the end of the week.
Spelling List
Just as a
reminder.
Make sure your child is completing a spelling activity every night from the inside of the homework folder. Thank you!
Our Unit of study
We continue our study on living and non-living things. We are focusing for the next two weeks on apples and how apple trees grow. We will also be focusing on Johnny Appleseed and his life.

Johnny Appleseed Day
Friday, September 23rd we will be participating in our apple rotations with Mrs. Caskeys class. We are in need of parent volunteers on this day. If you are able to volunteer, please fill out the bottom of the attached letter and send it back to school as soon as possible. Thank you so much for making this day a success.
