Hard working, creative and enthusiastic individual, able to work as part of a team or as an individual, who since a young age has been interested in web design and development. I enjoy working with the development/designing of web sites as it is always different and a challenge. I also get a lot of satisfaction from the implementation of a product as I have spent a lot of time in completing it to a satisfactory level and also as I am exploiting the opportunities presented by the Internet.
I am someone who is easy to get on with and have very strong communication skills. I am also capable of showing people, who are not familiar or who are having problems with any of the programs or scripting, how to use them without with ease.

During my time at University I have become accustomed to using the following software applications: DreamWeaver 8, Adobe Photoshop 7, Flash 8, Director MX 2004, 3D Studio Max 7, Poser 5, Bryce, Adobe Premiere Pro and Audacity. In my spare time I have taught myself how to use Flash 8 and 3D Studio Max 7 to help me progress in my studies and knowledge of the program.
As part of an A-Level computing project I had to solve a problem for a real client. I used ASP to create a checkout for a web site and it was also used so that it would be easily up datable through the use of a database. As part of the project I had to communicate with the client so I would know their needs and also to get the feedback through the project. I gained experience of what it would be like working in the real world.

Sales Assistant
March 2003 - Present, Sainsbury’s, Gloucester
Had to assist with customer queries as well as putting out stock, till work, handling cash and responsibilities when working in evenings.
Since starting the Time-Based Multimedia Production module I have become very interested in Flash and have in my own time learnt how to use Macromedia Flash 8 with a great deal of confidence. It has also helped with my programming skills as I have had to use Action Script. I now have a greater understanding of programming, as this was a weak area of mine, from other modules as I have been learning XML and JSP. I have taught myself how to play the guitar so am quite capable to learn something new on my own as well as being able to work in groups.
My hobbies consist of Rugby, Football, Formula One, Music, Guitar, Animation and Photography. Animation has always been an interest of mine, mainly from when I watched a lot of cartoons when I was younger and as I have always found it very interesting how they were made. Photography is a more recent interest of mine; I have taken it up as an amateur as it will be very beneficial later on in my career.
