Any other comments about the difference the swimming sessions make to your child and family?

“Been brill. My child loves it.”

“Swimming at school is amazing for my child. He loves it and I love taking him. The whole experience is a joy from start to finish. It helps with his strength the most, especially his neck and core. On the last few swimming sessions, he had started to put his head under the water for a few seconds.”

“My child and I have a lovely daughter and dad time that is totally relaxed.”

“It’s valuable time to spend as a family where it is made inclusive for all – we can get much closer together in the water and interact more easily. We use it to invite other family members to join us for the reasons just mentioned. There is no other pool with the same on offer anywhere else local to us.”

“It is a relaxed atmosphere, especially for getting changed, none of the stress of usual swimming changing rooms. It enables us to spend more time in the water as it is a warmer temperature.”

“Please see Children in Need video from November 2016.”

“Our grandson hated water but is now really relaxed and enjoys the time together in the pool.”

“Love the fact that my eldest daughter (and granddaughter) come in the pool. She has got a big issue over her weight (we all have a problem with being overweight) but she feels so comfortable in the front of the staff so we are able to go into the pool as a family. Just to see the little ones faces and splash around is priceless.”

“My boy loves his time swimming with his family and Sallyann. He has done so well over his time in the water and has learned so much.”

“Helped our son with his confidence in water. He now has more independence in the water. He could go from his back to his front with arm bands using his upper body strength. Dad usually goes in with him and it gives them dad/son time which he can’t usually do in a public pool.”

“For the first time in a long time we’ve found a leisure/fitness activity we can all do together that is totally inclusive. It’s hard to put into words the benefits our son and whole family have gained from the sessions – the photos that we have are already treasured and we’d happily share some with you. In the few sessions we have had we have witnessed a huge change in confidence in the pool but at home stressful bath times have now become a far more pleasant experience. We love doing this activity as a family and seeing the smiles on the children’s faces when they realise we’re all together.
