Under the Litter pollution Act (1997) it is the responsibility of owners/occupiers to keep their property free of any graffiti. Failure to meet this responsibility could lead to a litter fine being issued.

Free Graffiti Removal

Dublin City Business Improvement District (BID) Company Ltd will commence a pilot project for graffiti removal in your area.

What do you need to do?

A recent survey has shown that your premises are being defaced with some graffiti. In order to avail of the free service all you need to do is fill out the details below. It can be completed by the owner or prime occupier of the building.

Please complete all of the information, including your email and phone number, so that we can contact you when the work is due to commence. We want to start work as soon as possible and we need your permission to carry out the work. So, please fill in the form today and return it to us by post to:-

AGREEMENT AND WAIVER

In consideration of the removal of graffiti from the above mentioned premises by Dublin City Business Improvement District Company Ltd., the owner/occupier hereby agrees:

  1. That Dublin City Business Improvement District Company Ltd. is authorised to carry out all necessary cleaning and/or repairs for the purposes of removing graffiti from the premises and that the owner/occupier will co-operate fully with Dublin City Business Improvement District Company Ltd. its contractors and/or agents in this regard.
  1. That all decisions in relation to the method of cleaning and/or repairs based on the graffiti and surface type shall be made at the absolute discretion of Dublin City Business Improvement District Company Ltd., its contractors and/or agents.
  1. That Dublin City Business Improvement District Company Ltd. shall not be liable for any loss, damages, costs or expenses which are incurred by the owner/occupier howsoever arising in connection with the cleaning of graffiti from the premises.
  1. That the owner/occupier, by entering into this agreement, irrevocably and unconditionally waives all rights, claims and causes of action whether under statute, contract or common law against Dublin City Business Improvement District Company Ltd., arising from any error, omission or act done in connection with the cleaning of graffiti from the premises but without prejudice to any rights, claims and causes of action whether under statute, contract or common law which the owner/occupier may wish to assert against any third party in connection with the cleaning of graffiti from the premises.
