Conditions of Entry: Entry is conditional upon acceptance of these conditions.

  1. Entry Fee is $70 per entry. Entries can be made at

  3. Everybody fills in the Liability Declaration Form
  4. Unless able to to PROVE*adequate insurance liability as per the PCV website, pay an additional $10Day Attendance Fee - *Must produce proof.
  5. Riders without adequate Insurance Cover pay $10 for Liability Only cover for the duration of the event. (Not personal Medical) and complete the Day Participant Waiver.

PCAV Insurance Policy specifically states anyone not following PCAV Rules may be left uninsured.

  1. No refunds after closing date except with vet or medical certificate. An admin fee of $15 will be deducted.
  2. Entering this competition constitutes acknowledgement that PCAV rules apply and acceptance of these rules.
  3. The organising committee reserves the right to cancel any class or competition; divide any class; alter times; refuse any entry with or without stating the reason.
  4. Competitors may ride more than one horse, subject to the conditions of PCAV Handbook of By-laws multiple horse rules.
  5. Complying helmets must worn, please present your helmet for examination when checking in at the secretary’s office.
  6. PCAV club member cards must be inspected at the secretary’s office.
  7. Gear Check: required for all riders before each phase.
  8. Medical Armbands: must be worn by all competitors whilst mounted.
  9. Riders under eight years of age may not compete, horses must be at least four years of age, no stallions, colts or rigs.
  10. Competitor numbers - the organising committee will pre-allocate and advise numbers. Competitors may supply their own numbers. However, body numbers must be used for cross-country. Body numbers will be available at the event.
  11. PCAV Alcohol Policy applies.
  12. Dogs are prohibited without exception.
  13. Queries, protests, horse abuse, rules as per the PCAV Handbook of By-Laws.
  14. No Lungeing.
  15. Neither the organising committee of this competition nor the PCAV accepts any responsibility whatsoever for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, ground spectators or any other person or property.
  16. Media and Digital Publication Consent: Riders / families who are involved or attending out Horse Trials may be photogaphed by official Photographers, local media or event organisers, these images may be used to promote the event in newsletters, flyers, websites and other promotional activities.
  17. Riding times will be advised by event secretary, via email and their website.
  18. Any temporary yards used must of solid construction.
  19. If any equal placing occurs, the PCAV handbook for “Seperating Equality of Scores” will be applied
