Our schoolstrategies are on track to meet or exceed our targets
During 2015, we have focused on maximising the benefits of this funding for our students. After reviewing our Great Results Guarantee agreement, it is clear that we are on track to meet or exceed our targeted student outcomes. We continue to implement our strategies to ensure that every student succeeds.
Strategies implemented included:
- Engaging all teaching staff in professional learning to develop whole school pedagogical practices for explicit teaching.
- Using current research to guide and challenge our practices and engage teachers in analysis and discussion of data to assist in developing learning pathways suited to individual student needs.
- Allocating funding to support additional teacher aide time in P-2 classes to implement a whole school reading program.
- Implementing speech programs developed by the speech pathologist and support programs for identified students.
- Increased the percentage of Year 3 students operating in the upper two bands for reading from
- Increased the percentage of Year 3 students operating in the upper two bands for writing from 60% to 76.9%.
- Increased the percentage of Year 3 students operating in the upper two bands for numeracy from 41% to 66.7%.
- Produce 85% of students achieving a C or above in English and Maths in years 1 to 6.

After reviewing our Great Results Guarantee agreement, it is clear that we have made progress toward our targeted student outcomes. We will continue to focus on maximising the benefits of this funding for our students, and adjust our strategies as needed to ensure every student succeeds.
Strategies implemented include:
- Improve teacher capability through professional development and implementation of feedback cycles for both teachers and students to improve student outcomes.
- Continue to improve on percentage of students operating in the upper two band for spelling in Year 3 NAPLAN.
- Continue to use school based data to identify students at risk and requiring extension.
